About Us
Glenda Milne – Alto
Glenda attended a summer camp with her brother and accepted the Lord as her Saviour at age 11. Not soon after, she began singing alto with her best friend Heidi for specials in her church. Glenda would love to someday be a member of a ladies quartet! During her high school years she was in chorus and musicals.
At Boston Baptist College Glenda joined the choir and “The Sounds of Joy”, a ladies chorale. It was in Boston that she met Peter. An occasional duet during their first years of marriage, and singing with children, kept music alive and well in the Milne home. “I’ve always had a desire to direct a children’s choir, there is nothing more delightful than a child’s singing voice!” Glenda says.
So when her own son and daughter began enjoying music with her husband and her, of course there was much encouragement. Glenda provides a perfect blend amongst this group, and her spirit and drive is truly a God given gift.
Peter Milne – Lead
In yonder land and days gone by a friend of Peter’s Mother accepted Christ while watching a televised Billy Graham crusade! She then passed the good news onto Mary, who then saw to it her sons heard the gospel. Peter was 16 when he received Christ. Peter was introduced to Southern Gospel Music right away. Leading the congregation singing as a young man became an expected duty, and he was good at it, too. In 1984 Peter married Glenda, and a lifelong singing partner was added.
Peter never stopped loving the close male harmony of quartets. Nearly every day, every hour in the Milne home you will hear Gospel music being played.
Peter has a unique style of singing; very strong vocals and excellent ability to sing stories of truth. He is a master at re-telling ageless stories from Scripture. There is no lack of excitement and thanksgiving in his personal redemption experience! Testifying of Our Saviour’s love through song is one of his favorite things to do. It is very clear that Peter Milne wants The Lord’s will in every direction Accounted For should go. Please pray for him as he leads this group down the straight and narrow path.
Peter, Glenda and Cooper are members of First Baptist Church of Thompson Falls and Dean Carmichael is their Pastor. They all believe singing gospel music is another tool used for bringing lost souls to accept the Saviour as their own, and exhorting and encouraging brothers and sisters in Christ.
Pete Milne – Bass
Prior to age 14 Petie wanted to be a tenor, then you know what happened… his voice changed. His Dad was ALWAYS playing Southern Gospel music. Most evenings the Milne men were found hooked up to their favorite CD and joining the harmony. Petie has a growing personal desire to serve the Lord with his voice in song.
During the summers when Petie was 17 and 18, he attended classes at the Stamps Baxter School of Music, in Nashville, TN. Petie is now working at Colter Coffee Company in Kalispell as a roaster and a member of Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Nathan Bemis.
He is excited for the future of traveling and singing about his Saviour and telling the good news of His salvation! Which- by the way, happened when he was 6. His mother tells of the glorious moment and the prayer uttered from a sweet, sensitive young child’s heart.
